Overall, there needs to be a significant change in the way religious communities tackle interfaith dialogue. In my humble experience, the majority of models currently implemented by faiths are limited, passive, and sometimes, expensive. Let us go back to the spiritual messages of Prophets and saints and use their ethos to really provide solutions to humanity rather than only treating these messages ceremoniously. Perhaps then some of the important objectives of multiculturalism can be realized.

Education of the heart and intellect, the strengthening of marriage and family, and interfaith dialogue and cooperation are essential in developing an African Renaissance. Renaissance means rebirth. This concept of rebirth has been used to describe a new outburst of intellectual and artistic creativity, and, at the same time, it is commonly used as a term to describe a spiritual awakening. I believe both are necessary and equal parts of an African Renaissance.

Every culture throughout the world affirms the crucial role of the family in promoting social integration, intergenerational solidarity, and a healthy society. The family is the school of love and the very foundation for a harmonious society. Calling it the school of love elevates the traditional image of the family, with family members cultivating their heart through the many dimensions of loving relationships.
