"Peace Cup" Children's Soccer Tournament Held in Switzerland

Novazzano, Switzerland - UPF-Ticino held the second Peace Cup tournament in the town of Novazzano on May 5. This event brought together 11 teams of young soccer players for one day of sports under the motto “Play Football Make Peace.”

UPF-Moldova Commemorates Children's Day

Chisinau, Moldova - On May 27, the eve of International Children's Day, volunteers with UPF-Moldova together with the pupils of the Galata Gymnasium visited children at boarding school № 5 in Chisinau. The sixth and seventh-graders and the school psychologist and Ambassador for Peace Lily Golovei prepared and put on a performance of "Brave Elena." Then the children at the boarding school recited poems and sang songs.

Religious Youth Service Project Planned in Pakistan

Multan, Pakistan - “Youth of Faith Build Peace by Practice of Love and Service” was the theme of a second project of Religious Youth Service-Pakistan, planned for March 15 to 22. Local and international youth were invited to explore cultural unity through working together in one of the ancient cities of Asia. The program included a international peace conference, planting trees at religious institutions, and visits to historical sites.
