Forums Introduce Baltic Dialogue Initiative
Riga, Latvia and Vilnius, Lithuania - Building on cultural exchanges between Russian, Finnish, and Swedish children, UPF-Eurasia introduced its Baltic Dialogue Initiative inviting Ambassadors for Peace to join in addressing sensitive issues between Russia and its neighbors to the west. Peace Cup Tournament for Swiss Children
Novazzano, Switzerland - the Universal Peace Federation of Ticino organized the first Peace Cup tournament in the town of Novazzano. This football tournament brought together 12 teams of children for a day of sports under the motto “Play Football Make Peace.”

Day of Families Observed in Washington, DC
Washington, DC, USA - The UN International Day of Families was commemorated at The Washington Times’ Beech Room in the District of Columbia on June 17. Diplomats, media representatives, community activists, and NGO leaders made up the one hundred guests.
