Bangkok, Thailand - UPF launched "Peace Volunteer Thailand" with a mobilization of Muslim, Christian and Buddhist to clean flood damage at a Muslim school in Bangkok on Dec. 8, 2011.
San Marino - UPF and the San Marino's Cultural Academy held its annual ceremony awarding its Titan Poetry Prizes on November 26 and 27 honoring 30 poets.
Bangkok, Thailand - Volunteers provided food and supplies to people in Bangkok and provinces to the north affected by flooding in October and November 2011 and helped strengthen barriers against rising waters.

Almaty, Kazakhstan - In cooperation with the African Union in Kazakhstan, UPF showed a film in Almaty about humanitarian work in Africa and Kazakhstan on World Humanitarian Day, Aug. 20, 2011.
Slyudyanka, Russia - Volunteers built a pedestrian bridge and explored the beauties of the coast of Lake Baikal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, July 9-22, 2011.
Anse-la-Raye, St. Lucia - Participants in a Religious Youth Service project Aug. 2-13, 2011, in the small fishing village of Anse-la-Raye painted homes of senior citizens and made friends with local youth.
Jakarta, Indonesia - UPF-Indonesia celebrated International Youth Day with a program on Aug. 14, 2011 at the UPF Peace Center on the theme "Change Your World."
Johannesburg, South Africa - August is Women's month in South Africa and on August 9, the Women's Federation for World Peace, in partnership with the Family Federation for World Peace, undertook an educational and cleaning campaign in Alexandra. Alexandra is a township on the outskirts of Johannesburg and it was recently in the news for being infested with rats.
