Lugano, Switzerland—“Peace Cup” football tournaments for youngsters were held this year in Switzerland, Italy and Albania.
Managua, Nicaragua—The Youth and Students for Peace was launched in Nicaragua during a one-day program at the University of Commercial Sciences (UCC) co-sponsored by UPF.
Vlorë, Albania—High school students participated in an essay competition, organized by UPF, which was inspired by the UPF founder.
Moscow, Russia—Participants in the 2019 Mister and Miss University pageant referred to it as a family more than a competition.
Kyiv, Ukraine—Seventy-three pupils at a recent etiquette workshop learned the rules for making a good first impression.
St. Petersburg, Russia—The local chapter of UPF opened the winter season of Peace Road by sponsoring a session of Nordic walking.
Colombo, Sri Lanka—Ten people participated in a program to train them to become assistant trainers for future Religious Youth Service (RYS) projects.

Monaragala, Sri Lanka—Volunteers from 10 countries helped construct an extension of a community center as part of the Religious Youth Service’s 2018 Island Friendship Project.
Kinshasa, DR Congo—YSP program encouraged students to maintain abstinence as the best way to prevent AIDS.
Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Malaysia—Peace Road 2018 drew 6,000 participants.
Perak, Malaysia—Students from three countries worked together under the theme “Connecting All Hearts as One.
Moscow, Russia—Supporters of the Peace Road project participated in the 2018 running of the Moscow International Marathon.
