Day of Families Observed in Asuncion

Asuncion, Paraguay - An International Day of Families observance took place at the Gran Hotel del Paraguay in Asuncion on May 15.
Dr. Perla Jara de González read the message of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Mr. Shigeyuki Nakai talked about his work helping people in the Chaco, and Mr. Arístides Rondán spoke about "Marriage, Family, and Human Development." The majority of the 50 people in attendance were professionals, lawyers, engineers, and relatives.
