International Day of Families Observed in Peru

Lima, Peru - UPF-Peru, together with friends from the Women's Federation and the Family Federation for World Peace celebrated the UN International Day of Families in Lima on May 18, 2014. During the meeting Rev. Alberto Florido, President of the Family Federation in Peru, gave the UPF PowerPoint presentation on "The Family as the School of Love and Peace." Three families were honored for their long-term marriages. The meeting concluded with the lighting of candles and prayers for peace and harmony among the families of Peru.
Programs also took place in three districts of the city of Trujillo.
