Brezovica, Croatia - Nine young people from Bosnia and Croatia attended a five-day peace seminar from June 27 to July 2, modeled on the European Leadership Conference series sponsored by UPF-Europe. For the young people, we created a more diverse program that included mountain climbing, service activities, and sports.
One Bosnian girl wrote: "In this five-day seminar, I learned a lot about the importance of family. Everything starts from myself, and we need to build a good foundation and develop our personality for our future family. Also I learned the importance of giving to others. It is true that giving happiness brings greater joy than receiving happiness. I am beginning to learn what it means to be a true teacher and true leader and that our purpose should be to lead people in a good way. I hope people from more countries can participate in order to promote peace in the Balkans."
