Komarovo, Russia - The first workshop on Unification Thought took place in the village of Komarovo not far from St. Petersburg on March 30, 2013. Its purpose was to highlight the motivation and the basis for the activities of the Universal Peace Federation. Marianna Sokurova, Ambassador for Peace and a volunteer of the Universal Peace Federation, gave two lectures: "Introduction to Unification Thought" and "The Peace Principles of UPF." Participants became acquainted with the concepts and asked many questions.

Among the participants of the seminar were representatives of public organizations Super-Marathon and Association for Global Harmony, a professor of the University for Culture and Arts, school teachers, students, and singers of the Kirov academic choir.
Then Konstantin Krylov, Secretary General of UPF-Eurasia, held a discussion about the Baltic Dialogue project. In particular, he proposed organizing a trip to Poland to visit friends in the Polish Universal Peace Federation for a meeting on "The Spirituality and Traditions of Russia." The trip will take place at the beginning of September this year.
After lunch, the participants went for a walk enjoying nature and clear, cold air.
