Visits to the King Abdullah Mosque included explanations about Islam given by Dr. Hamdi Murad, co-founder of the Jordan Interfaith Coexistence Research Center and the Friday preacher at the mosque. Christian delegates commented afterwards that his words had helped them to see Islam in a new light. Archbishop George El Murr of the Melkite Church in Jordan also addressed delegates.
