Yerevan, Armenia - The Armenian event of the Global Peace Tour took place on April 25 in Yerevan City. The program highlighted UPF's South Caucasus Peace Initiative and the philosophy and values of the Universal Peace Federation. The keynote address was given by Dr. Katsumi Ohtsuka, Chairman of UPF-Eurasia.

The delegation was hosted by a key Armenian Ambassador for Peace, Mr. Armen Azizyan, Chief of the Material Department at the Ministry of Culture. About 100 guests attended the event, and key leaders of NGOs were presented with an Ambassador for Peace Certificate.

Prior to the main event, the UPF delegation attended one of the most famous public events of Armenia, the April 24 Day of Commemoration, and took part in a march for reconciliation and peace.
