Georgia Youth Win Prizes at a Russian Film Festival

Tbilisi, Georgia - As part of the "Urals - Georgia: We'll Be Friends" project, the leader of UPF-Georgia, Vitaly Maximov, inspired youth of the Georgia to submit their works to the "Gift" International Youth Film Festival October 8-10 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Famous masters of film production, representatives of state authorities, and public activists were on the jury.
Among the winners were a film and a set of photos from Georgia. During the three days of the Festival, all drawings and photos submitted from different nations were displayed in the hall of the Palace. All competitors received Certificates of Participation.
The Festival seeks to stimulate and develop traditions of charity and volunteerism in society, especially among youth. Such multilateral cooperation promotes interconnections among people and lessening of international tensions between nations.
