UPF-Eurasia Secretary General Visits Armenia

Yerevan, Armenia - On August 10 a group of Ambassadors for Peace gathered in Yerevan at the home of Mrs. Santosh Kumari Arora for a presentation by UPF-Eurasia Secretary General Jacques Marion on UPF’s current activities. A native of India married to Armenian painter Edvard Sasun, Mrs. Santosh fully embraced Armenian culture and language and gained a reputation as a teacher and healer in her adopted country. She is also a dedicated Ambassador for Peace. The meeting was the occasion to share about UPF worldwide and current educational programs in the region.

On August 11 Mr. Marion met with Rev. Aharon Ghazaryan, pastor of a large Evangelical church in Armenia who had attended UPF interfaith conferences. In the beautiful setting of Lake Sevan where the church organizes summer camps for its followers, UPF-Armenia representatives had the chance to share friendly time with the church staff and lay grounds for interfaith dialogue in Armenia.
