Chişinău, Moldova - On May 14, the International Relief Friendship Foundation ONLUS and the Family Federation for World Peace held an International Day of Families conference on the theme of "Marriage without Divorce: the Catalysts of a Prosperous Moldova.”
The event focused on the most recent strategies of family and marriage protection, offering relevant information and building cooperative relationships with scholars, professors, psychologists, volunteers, students, and NGO leaders.
Among the speakers were Mrs. Otilia Stamatin, Ambassador for Peace and chief of the Applied Psychology Department, and Dr. Inga Zmuncila, of the State Pedagogical University.
Among the 25 participants of the conference were representatives from the Ministry of Family Protection and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The famous Moldovan folk singer Maria Sarabash participated in the event and pleased the participants with beautiful songs about love.
Participants agreed with the proposal of the conference that strong marriages are catalysts of a prosperous Moldova. The participants showed great openness for cooperation and working together toward the prosperity of Moldovan families.
