When the presentations were finished, awards were given to couples who have been married more than 20 years, and a Medal of Peace was presented to a couple who has been married more than 40 years. Also, new Ambassadors for Peace were appointed.
One of the most moving moments was when couples shared their testimony of the love they invested during their years of marriage to nurture, enhance, and fill their families with happiness. This revealed the depth and power of love in the family that can transform society and build a peaceful world.
