Nitra, Slovakia - The UN International Day of Families is celebrated on May 15 each year. But UPF activists in the city of Nitra decided to use the free day of May 8 to organize an event in the MAX shopping center where they had good experiences promoting the International Day of Peace last September. The management of the MAX gave permission to set up an information table and panel. Young UPF activists and school children prepared leaflets and bookmarks with information about the Day of Families and about the importance of the family. Activists handed then the leaflets and bookmarks to passers-by and spoke with them about this International Day of Families.
