UPF-Albania Korçë Observes International Day of Families

Korçë, Albania—UPF co-sponsored a conference titled "Family, Between Values and Challenges."
The event was held on May 30, 2023, at the Fan S. Noli University of Korçë by the Albanian chapters of UPF and its affiliated organization Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), in cooperation with Fan S. Noli University.
UPF thanks the university rector, Professor Dr. Dhimitri Bello and the vice principal, Dr. Benita Stavre, for their readiness to cooperate and create all the possibilities for this conference to be held in a dignified manner. We are grateful to Gaqo Apostoli, a former Albanian minister of transportation and longtime chairman of UPF-Albania, for his welcoming speech and for honoring the conference with his participation.
Thanks to Profiri Average, Blerina Çeliku, lecturer of this university, Delantina Mulla and Jorgjeta Babliku for their referrals. In addition to their high scientific level and professional responsibility, they offered not only true information but also advice and practical solutions so necessary for the family and parents.
Thanks to the student Klevisa Seitllari and the Themistokli Gërmenji School, who made us believe that the family and its preservation are precious for our young people.
Finally, we are grateful to the Ambassadors for Peace who attended and those who were newly appointed, along with the wish to do more for the family, the source of harmony and peace for all of society.
Family, the place where we first smiled.
The tree with our roots that ties us tightly to yesterday, makes us feel secure in the present and grows healthy branches of tomorrow.
The country that faces our war and offers us peace.
Family, the school that taught us respect, love, smiles, wiped our tears, patience, perseverance, all values.
The place of the roots of yesterday, the trunk of today and the branches of tomorrow, the tree where we receive the oxygen of life.
Keep it clean, water it carefully, give it light, take oxygen from it, exchange the breath.
