Mission of Malaysia to the UN Hosts Tea Ceremony

New York, United States—The Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations co-hosted a Japanese Tea Ceremony with UPF-International. The event, which took place on November 25, 2014 at the Malaysia Mission to the UN, was organized to celebrate Malaysia’s membership of the UN Security Council for the 2015-2016 term.
One participant said that UPF-International should hold a Tea Ceremony at the Security Council to build peace among the Security Council members. Many of those who attended the Tea Ceremony were inspired by it and said it was a special and wonderful experience for them.

- Netherlands’ Deputy Permanent Representative
- Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative
- Permanent Observer of the Holy See
- Permanent Observer of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
- Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Chad
