Forum in Osaka on UN Day against Drug Abuse

Osaka, Japan - Mamiko Rattley, Director of UPF-Sydney, Australia, gave a talk on drug abuse prevention through character building and community development at this commemorative symposium which was sponsored by the Women's Federation for World Peace-Osaka on July 3. The theme of the program was “Let’s Make a Drug-Free World.” Mrs Rattley was one of two guest speakers and one of four panelists.
Mrs Rattley also gave a talk at the UPF Ambassadors for Peace monthly meeting in Tokyo on July 7 which commemorated this UN international day.
Participants in both events were inspired with UPF-Sydney’s grassroots projects: “Celebrating Life” and “Community Connections.”
