Elimination of Violence Against Women Taught in Moldova

Ialoveni, Moldova - The Director of Social Affairs, Family and Labor of the Ialoveni region near Chisinau invited the International Educational Foundation to lead educational activities promoting family values and prevention of violence against women on November 24 in commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The seminar on the theme of “The Family for Peace and Human Development” was attended by 128 psychologists, social workers, and vice-directors for education from all the villages of the Ialoveni region.
The program included a presentation about Traditional Family Values by ethnologist Mrs. Osadci Raisa, and the Family as School of Love, focused on the role of parents in preventing family violence and preparing youth for marriage.
