Human Rights Day Forum Held in the Peruvian Congress

Lima, Peru - UPF-Peru and the office of Dr. Yonhy Lescano Ancieta organized a forum celebrating the International Day of Human Rights on Dec. 13, 2013 in the Congress of the Republic.
Congressman Lescano gave the opening remarks, and Anglican Archbishop Jesus Mejia Quiroz offered the invocation. The program included an interreligious candle lighting ceremony, tributes to the legacy of Nelson Mandela, speeches, and music by the choir from the Maria Paradero de Bellido College.
