UPF and Global Citizen Forum Host Dinner for the UN Community

New York, USA - The Global Citizen Forum and UPF jointly organized a high-level dinner in New York City on June 12, 2014 for a group of United Nations associates and friends of Universal Peace Federation.
Distinguished guests of honor from the United Nations at the dinner included: H.E. Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, high representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations and his wife, Mrs. Muna Rihani Al-Nasser, chairperson, UN Women for Peace; H.E. Mr. Hermenegilde Niyonzima and Mme. Nelly Niyonzima, permanent representative and spouse, the Permanent Mission of Burundi to the United Nations; and H.E. Mr. Denis G. Antoine, permanent representative of Grenada to the United Nations.
Dr. B. K. Modi is widely known as a business leader with a transnational group of businesses around the world. He has more recently launched the Global Citizen Forum, and is building a network of leading figures from around the world. Dr. Modi has great respect for the founders and the mission and work of UPF, and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with GCF as a basis for ongoing collaboration.
In late September or early October of this year, the Global Citizen Forum and UPF is planning to organize a conference at the United Nations.
