International Youth Day Celebrated in Fiji

Suva, Fiji—International Youth Day was celebrated in Suva, Fiji on August 16, 2017. Youth from the Walikutu Youth Club, a registered organization with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, participated in the program.
Mr. Santosh Neupane, Chair of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) gave a PowerPoint presentation on fostering a culture of youth through service. He encouraged all the participants to reevaluate the priorities of their lives, and to cultivate their hearts by serving the community and nation.
Hon. Netani Rika, member of parliament was the next presenter. He gave a talk on an approach to life centered on Christian morals. Furthermore he spoke on the importance of preparing for marriage by attending a UPF family education seminar.
Ratu Filimoni, president of UPF-Fiji spoke about the importance of living for the sake of others, which is a core UPF principle and concluded the one-day workshop with a powerful prayer.
