Moscow, Russia - A Pageant of Beauty, Character, and Lifestyle took place at the Russian Federation Social University in Moscow on May 18. Among the participants were students of Moscow universities. This contest is unique because the jury takes into consideration not only the external appearance of the contestants but also their character and lifestyle.
For half a year, the contestants participated in volunteer projects and conferences, met interesting people, and held rehearsals. As part of the competition, they organized the New Year celebration at correctional boarding school № 105 and participated in the Spring Week of Goodness-2013. In addition to the projects, there were lots of interesting and informative lectures, seminars, and meetings where the participants could enrich their knowledge in different fields, and, even more important, make new friends with the same interests.
Rehearsals for the finals were boisterous, bright, and cheerful. Contestants became a harmonious team united by common interests.
In the finale of the contest, the jury (including professors and lecturers, and outstanding people in the fields of culture and art) faced a difficult decision, because each participant was interesting, talented, and committed. Evaluating their contributions over the past six months, the jury made the following selections:
Mr. University and Miss University: Sergey Gevorgyan and Anastasia Nefedova
Vice Mr. University and Vice Miss University: Alexey Tarnets and Alena Dudarova
Audience favorites: Sergey Gevorgyan and Anastasia Nefedova
Mr. Friendship and Miss Friendship: Stanislav Andryushin and Alexandra Karpova
Mr. Talent and Miss Talent: Roman Blinov and Ekaterina Minsafina
Mr. Good Heart and Miss Good Heart: Anton Makeev and Darina Kovalevskaya

Anastasia Nefedova, Miss University 2013, commented: "We felt very excited; each of us tried to do our best 100%. I think we have succeeded. During the ceremony we were holding hands and giving moral support to each other. For me this event was really special. I am very happy to have won, but I consider all who reached the finale winners, because we are a team."
