New York, USA - The Permanent Mission of Nigeria and Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the United Nations, in partnership with the Universal Peace Federation, sponsored “Women and the World at a Turning Point” hosted at Nigeria House, March 2, 2011.

The program, a parallel event of the 55th Commission on the Status of Women, drew over a hundred women to a day-long seminar concluded by an interfaith peace ceremony. [See report.]
