Vilnius, Lithuania—A small but spirited group of adults and children bicycled 10 kilometers through Lithuania’s capital for the 2017 Peace Road event.

Vilnius, Lithuania - UPF-Lithuania held a forum on Oct. 26 on the theme “Educating youth as a step towards a harmonious society,” addressing the current issues of youth crimes. Over 40 participants attended the meeting, including school directors, educators and NGO representatives.
Panevezys, Lithuania - An International Day of Families program honoring 35 outstanding local families took place on May 15 at the Panevezys Art Gallery. UPF-Lithuania sponsored the program in conjunction with the Active Women Club of women politicians in the city, led by UPF Ambassador for Peace Mrs. Danute Krisciuniene. The title of the event was short and warm: “I Thank You.”
Vilnius, Lithuania - A quarterly meeting of Ambassadors Peace was held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on June 6. The participants shared about recent UPF projects on the world and regional levels.
Panevezys, Lithuania - In cooperation with the “Atjauta” (Compassion), an organization in Panevezys that works with at-risk children, UPF-Lithuania organized a celebration of the International Day of Families on May 15.
Vilnius, Lithuania - UPF-Eurasia Secretary General Jacques Marion visited Lithuania on February 18 to meet with Ambassadors for Peace and report on recent UPF activities in Eurasia and throughout the world. Panevezys, Lithuania - UPF-Lithuania in partnership with the local NGO “The Brotherhood of January 13th” convened a meeting in Panevezys on November 25 on the theme “The Significance of the Family for Individuals and Society.”
Vilnius, Lithuania - Our warm congratulations to the Ambassadors for Peace and UPF partners in Baltic States! The Lithuanian chapter of the Universal Peace Federation was registered in Vilnius on June 28, 2011. It marked a very important stage in expanding activity of Lithuanian peacemakers and further development of the Baltic Dialogue, a peace initiative of the Universal Peace Federation.

Panevezys, Lithuania - UPF-Lithuania held a meeting on March 23 with the “Brotherhood of January 13th” — an NGO from Panevezys, one of the larger cities in Lithuania. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen connections with that organization that began when its members participated in the World Peace Tours in Lithuania.
Vilnius, Lithuania - UPF-Lithuania held its annual meeting on December 29 to reflect on the year 2010 and celebrate Christmas with Ambassadors for Peace. Ten Ambassadors for Peace gathered for this event.
Vilnius, Lithuania - UPF-Lithuania held a Festival of Ascension and Unity on September 30 to commemorate the lives of four people who have contributed toward godly peace and unification in Lithuania, and have now passed on to the spirit world.
Dr. Medardas Cobotas passed from this earth on Saturday, August 30, 2009, at the age of 83 due to complications after open-heart surgery performed earlier in the month.
Lithuania - A few committed people organized 12 rallies throughout the country on the same day to communicate the UPF peace message.
His Excellency Stanislav Shushkevich, the former President of Belarus, introduced UPF Founder Dr. Sun Myung Moon to the 500 delegates who had assembled at the Palace Forum in central Vilnius for the inauguration of the Universal Peace Federation in Lithuania.
