Tokyo, Japan - Nigerian Ambassadors for Peace on a one-week study-tour of Japan received a warm welcome by the Ambassador of Nigeria to Japan and a former Ambassador of Japan to Nigeria.

Benin City, Nigeria - Joining organizations and governments around the world in remembrance of the attacks on September 11, 2001, the Youth Federation for World Peace, Universal Peace Federation, the Nigerian NGO Project Hope and Change, and the government of Edo State, Nigeria, hosted some 200 participants at a commemorative program on effective peace building, "Peace: No Alternative."
Abuja, Nigeria - An Africa Youth Leaders Peace Summit at the Economic Community of West African States in Abuja June 2-5, 2009, commemorated African Liberation Day and World Environment Day.
Abuja, Nigeria - An International Leadership Conference on the theme “One Family under God: A New Vision for Peace in the 21st Century” was held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This event, which was part of the Global Peace Tour 2009, drew participants from across Nigeria, including Ambassadors for Peace and other dignitaries.
I convey special greetings to you from the Niger Delta Women’s Movement for Peace and Development, and I thank you for giving me the honor of making a presentation about our work. Abuja, Nigeria - Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon and her son arrived in Abuja, Nigeria, on July 23, to deliver the UPF peace message to an overflow audience.
The central concerns of Ambassadors for Peace in many African countries are the human beings who are left after the bombs have exploded, the warriors have marched off, the rivers polluted, and the farmlands wasted. Invariably they are widows and orphans, while among the male adults who still breathe, many are blind, limbless, or living with multiple other incapacities. These conditions, which are prevalent in many African countries, have engaged the attention of the volunteers of the African Refugees Foundation.

River State, Nigeria—The RYS worked in cooperation with Service for Peace dedicated this day in order to commemorate the UN International Day of Peace through offering a day of service and reflection at in doing service at the School of Midwifery in Rivers State.
