Seoul, Korea - An International Leadership Conference in Seoul marked the first UN World Interfaith Harmony Week, emphasizing the responsibilities of religious and spiritual leaders to defuse long-standing tensions between different ethnic and minority groups.
What religion truly seeks is relationship. The Latin etymology of the word is to re-connect back to a relationship first with God, and then heaven, earth, and mankind. Only through relationship can the virtues of love, peace, tolerance, harmony, compassion can exist. Everything is based on relationships.

Seoul, Korea - The UPF Interfaith Assembly opened in Seoul Oct. 9, 2010 at the Cheon Bok Gung, the Unification community’s inspiring new sanctuary in Seoul, with a moving ceremony of prayers and readings from seven faith traditions.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you here to the Cheon Bok Gung. This sanctuary is dedicated to the vision and wisdom of Almighty God, who leads us toward peace according to divine providence. This providence has been served through all the world’s great religions and faith traditions and can only be consummated or realized by all of them working in concert.
Washington, DC - An appreciative crowd gathered near the Korean War Memorial on the National Mall in Washington DC to reflect on the outbreak of the Korean War 60 years ago. The Little Angels Children's Folk Ballet were the star attraction in a special program to honor the veterans from 16 nations who defended freedom on the Korean peninsula.
Moscow, Russia - With tension building up in the Korean peninsula, Russian Ambassadors for Peace met with officials in Seoul to address the legacy of the Korean War and seek to prevent further conflict.

Seoul, Korea - The UPF's International Leadership Conference in February featured global leaders calling for dialogue and partnership. Participants attended the World Peace Blessing and the 90th birthday celebration of UPF founder, Rev. Sun Myung Moon.

Seoul, Korea - The Universal Peace Federation represented by several hundred Ambassadors for Peace was delighted to participate in the World Peace Blessing of 20,000 couples just concluded in Korea. It was an extraordinarily rich festival of love, friendship, and reconciliation.
Sportsmen from all over the world came to Korea October 12-13 for the Wongu Peace Cup, an international and intercultural sports event including football, basketball, volleyball, track and field, ping-pong, badminton, and martial arts. Athletes participated in the competitions as representatives of their native countries and continents, in an atmosphere of friendship and tolerance.
