Clearing Garbage from the Nairobi River

Nairobi, Kenya - News of the Global Peace Festival in Paraguay swept through many communities in Kenya as the nation prepares to host her first GPF, August 29 to 31. On July 12, volunteers cleared trash from a 300-meter length of the Nairobi River. Dozens of partner agencies, hundreds of volunteers, and various government offices pooled their efforts to restore this landmark.
