Vienna, Austria - The whole room was nicely decorated with balloons in the national colors of Trinidad and Tobago: red, black and white. Mrs. Zena Eggough, Vice President of UPF-Austria and an Ambassador for Peace, was welcomed as a special guest and introduced the country of her origin to an audience of 70 people, guests and members of the Universal Peace Federation in Vienna on November 5.

Petit Valley, Trinidad - Participants in the Aug. 8-19, 2009, Religious Youth Service project in Trinidad repaired the facilities at a wildlife rehabilitation center, fed and cared for the elderly at a home for the aged, and visited religious and cultural sites.

Trinidad and Tobago - UPF peer educators offered character education programs to children in the village of El Luengo and young athletes in Port of Spain, the capital. This was the second year that the Universal Peace Federation sent interns from the US to this Caribbean island.

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago - Between the festivities of Christmas past and Carnival coming, the Universal Peace Federation managed to catch the attention of Trinidadians for a moment in January. A speech event, entitled “Good Governance and True Families” was held in the formal intimacy of the Council Chamber, City Hall, Port-of-Spain, capital of Trinidad, on January 15th, attended by more than 40 people, including the Ambassador of Costa Rica, the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor of Port-of-Spain, several district councillors, as well as religious and social leaders.

Trinidad & Tobago—RYS works on environment cleaning with Bocco Reef Foundation at Aripo Heights. During this project participants also constructed a room to train disabled youth and paint the Charis School, peace mural in the inner city.
