UPF Partners in the All-Russia Week of Goodness
Moscow, Russia - UPF-Russia initiated programs during the fifteenth annual Spring Week of Goodness April 16-24. Events with the slogan “We Create Our Future Together” took place throughout Russia. Amrullah Saleh appointed Ambassador for Peace
Houten, Netherlands - At an April 16 meeting in Houten of Afghanistanis living in the Netherlands, Amrullah Saleh, former Head of Afghanistan's National Security Directorate, discussed the situation in their homeland. UPF-Netherlands Secretary General Wim Koetsier complimented Mr. Saleh on his work for peace in his homeland, and presented him with a UPF Ambassador for Peace certificate.

Africa Film Festival Announced in Nepal
Kathmandu, Nepal - The College of Journalism and Mass Communication, in collaboration with its African partners, is organizing for the first time ever in Nepal an African Film Festival May 23-25 at the Russian Cultural Center. Fifteen films will showcase the different African culture and traditions.
