Fifty Thousand Gather to Say Farewell to Dr. Sun Myung Moon
Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the international religious leader and founder of the Unification Church and the Universal Peace Federation was laid to rest on September 15 in a series of moving ceremonies held in the mountainous countryside just outside Seoul that Father Moon loved so much in life.

New Delhi, India - The Universal Peace Federation-India launched College Peace Clubs in three universities in New Delhi in August and September: Ram Lal Anand College and St. Stephen's College of the University of Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia (the Islamic National University).
Clean and Green Campaign Launched in Nepal
Kathmandu, Nepal - "Clean and Green Nepal," a nationwide garbage separation education campaign was launched in Nepal on September 2. With a sense of civic pride, 1000 participants, including volunteers from 50 colleges in Nepal and four colleges in India, cleaned up Ratna Park in Kathmandu.
