World Peace Blessing
Couples Affirm Marriage at Interfaith Peace Blessing in Thailand

Huatapan, Thailand—UPF-Thailand held an Interfaith Peace Blessing Festival in Huatapan district, Amnatcharoen province, Thailand, on November 17, 2015, which more than 110 couples and 192 people attended.
Mr. Watcharachai Cherdsomboon, served as emcee, and Mrs. Kamoltip Phayakvichien, president of the Women’s Federation for World Peace-Thailand (WFWP-Thailand), gave the welcoming remarks.
Mr. Manat Sirisukniwat, a representative of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) in Thailand, spoke on “Family is the School of Love and Peace.”
Mr. Prapat Hirunpaiboon, a Huatapan district officer, gave the opening remarks for the marriage blessing ceremony.
Afterwards, Christian and Muslim leaders offered their prayers and blessings.
Dr. Lek Thaveetermsakul, vice chair of UPF-Asia, and his wife, Vipa, officiated the ceremony, leading the blessing vows.
A congratulatory song was sung, and, Mrs. Panida Duangchinda, vice president of WFWP-Thailand, congratulated the couples.
At the end of the event, a certificate was presented to each couple.
