Nakomkope, Ghana - Eighteen youth in a training program cleaned up some historic places in the community and took part in a community rally in honor of Africa Day.

Quito, Ecuador - Africa Day was commemorated May 25 at the Embassy of Peace in Quito. The program included a presentation about Africa and a speech by Mr. René Ortiz, Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Africa to Ecuador. Reports of UPF's activities in Africa and African music concluded the evening.

Tel Aviv, Israel - UPF-Israel sent a delegation to the African football tournament in Tel Aviv May 22, three days before Africa Day. Information was distributed about UPF's peace initiatives, and bouquets of flowers were presented to the wives of Ambassadors from African countries to Israel.
