Le 12 décembre 2007, la grande célébration du Festival international de la paix 2007 s’est déroulée dans les tribunes historiques du Quirino de Manille, la capitale des Philippines. L’événement était le point d’orgue d’une multitude d’activités et de spectacles autour du thème « la paix globale et une seule famille mondiale. »
El 12 de diciembre de 2007 Filipinas fue anfitriona de la gran celebración del Festival para la Paz Global 2007 en el histórico Quirino Grandstand en Manila, la capital. El evento consistó en una variedad de actividades y entretenimientos bajo el tema: ”Paz Global y Una Sola Familia bajo Dios”.
Estamos aquí reunidos porque compartimos un mismo anhelo de paz universal. La paz en la tierra es nuestra mayor necesidad, pero es también nuestra meta colectiva más evasiva. Hay, tristemente, carencia de buena voluntad entre los hombres en el mundo actual.
On December 12, 2007, the Philippines hosted the Global Peace Festival 2007 grand celebration at the historic Quirino Grandstand in the capital city of Manila. The event culminated a multitude of activities and entertainment under the theme of “Global Peace and One World Family.”

GPF Manila Opens with Massive Coastal Cleanup
Manila, Philippines - The Manila Global Peace Festival got underway December 9, 2007, with a massive community service project involving more than 10,000 volunteers from 39 schools and universities and over 100 community groups. A joint project with the Mayor Alfredo Lim's office and the city of Manila, the cleanup targeted the badly polluted coastline of Manila Bay. Organizers said that the volunteers had already removed several tons of trash and committed to doing much more in the weeks and months ahead.
Easy-to-follow textbooks and teacher manuals feature stories that present moral challenges. The curriculum begins with simple lessons based on fables and builds to relationship skills and "Preparing for Life in Society." There are 17 lessons for each grade level. Student texts begin with a story and continue with interactive learning exercises; teacher's manuals feature learning objectives, explanations and discussion questions. Instructions are given for games, role-playing, creative activities and assignments to reinforce the learning objectives.

Un Séminaire sur la bonne gouvernance et le leadership a ouvert de nouveaux horizons pour s’adresser aux membres du parlement de la Serra Leone, pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest. Il s’est déroulé dans la salle des Commissions N°1 de l’enceinte du Parlement de Freetown, les 3 et 4 décembre 2007.
