An Outing at a Park Near Ulaanbaatar
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - UPF-Mongolia held a gathering along the riverside at the Gachuurt resort in the eastern suburbs of Ulaanbaatar. In Mongolian-style hospitality, a cow was butchered for the meal that was enjoyed by 224 participants.
UPF-Mongolia Expands Educational Programs
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - Administrators from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology asked UPF-Mongolia to arrange a visit to Seoul National University in Korea, which took place November 11-18. This request grew out of the participation of Mongolians in eight recent international leadership seminars with their counterparts in Asian nations.

Eurasians Moved by Marriage and Family Focus
The International Leadership Conference on “The Significance of Marriage and Family for Peace in the 21st Century” brought together delegates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Latvia, Mongolia, People's Republic of China, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan as well as other parts of the world. People were moved in various ways by their experiences in Korea.

Collecting Donations to Help Mongolian Children
Mongolia - In the State of the World’s Children Report 2008, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) noted that Mongolia has made great strides in reducing infant mortality. This is good progress towards the UN Millennium Development Goal of reducing the rate by two-thirds between 1990 and 2015.The current under-five mortality rate per 1,000 live births is 43, which was 109 in 1990.

Activities in Eurasia
On February 9-12, 2008 UPF held a World Peace Summit in Seoul, Korea. The Eurasian delegation was represented by 25 participants from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Peoples Republic of China, Russia and Ukraine.
Peace Tour Inaugurates UPF in Mongolia
Dr. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon arrived in Mongolia to a red-carpet welcome. The road was lined with 3,000-4,000 young Mongolians cheering and waving flags and banners.
