Day of Peace in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - The United Nations International Day of Peace 2009 was celebrated at the School of Foreign Service of Mongolia National University on September 21.
One hundred and twelve people attended the event organized by the Universal Peace Federation of Mongolia, the Union for Peace and Friendship, the School of Foreign Service, and an NGO, “Blue Banner.”
Speakers included D. Tsahilgaan, President of the Union for Peace and Friendship of Mongolia, and Altantsetseg, from the School of Foreign Service. Mongolian National Television, Ulaanbaatar Broadcasting Channel, “Today,” and “Daily News” carried reports of the event.
