Bungamati, Lalitpur, Nepal - A Religious Youth Service Project was held Oct. 9-17, 2007 in the ancient village of Bungamati, Lalitpur, Nepal. Forty local and international participants from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, England, and Jordan, representing different faiths, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds, participated in the project.
More than 900 gatherings took place throughout Nepal in late 2006 to deliver the UPF peace message. In 20 of these events, guest speakers were two distinguished Korean Ambassadors for Peace, Prof. Lee Chang Sup and Dr. Cho Kyung Chong.
Members of the Universal Peace Federation took to the streets of Kathmandu, Nepal on October 15 to bring a new spirit to the stalled talks. Placards reading “Forgive, Love, Unite,” called on all parties to put the interest of the nation above political self-interests.
Nepal - Twelve venues throughout Nepal were arranged for Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon and her family to deliver the UPF peace message on September 22.

Dr. Sun Myung Moon inaugurated the Universal Peace Federation in Nepal by delivering a peace message to an assembly of 4,500 people at the Birendra International Convention Centre on November 22.
Recommendations resulting from a peace conference in Kathmandu, Nepal, Nov. 12, 2005 that brought together delegates from Nepal, India, USA, UK, Japan, Korea, Philippines and Thailand.
