Kose, Estonia - A presentation about the UN International Day of Tolerance took place on November 16 in Kose, a small town about 40 km from Tallinn. One of the English language teachers invited UPF representatives to participate as partners on the occasion, and most of the pupils from the 10th through the 12th grades assembled in the gymnasium for the program. Including and students, more 80 people participated.

Tallinn, Estonia - International Day of Peace programs took place in schools in Väike-Maarja and Toila, Estonia. Students participated actively in the program, asking questions and offering their ideas and suggestions about peacemaking.

Narva, Estonia - In January UPF-Estonia organized a project with International Relief Friendship Foundation of Norway and an Orthodox church community in Narva, Estonia. UPF-Estonia received about 60 individually packed gifts from the children of a school in Norway. These gifts were distributed among the children at an Orthodox school in Narva.

Parnu, Estonia - On the Baltic seacoast in Parnu, Estonia, the annual Parnu Summer Cup youth football tournament took place from June 30 to July 3 under the slogan of "Play Football Make Peace." During the period of several days, more than 100 football players from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, and Russia competed with the desire to become the best of the best.

Tallinn, Estonia - A meeting of Ambassadors for Peace was held in Tallinn on July 2. The program was about the dialogue between Russia and Baltic States. The guests representing NGOs, businesses, and governmental organizations, discussed the basics of the dialogue within the post-Soviet territories.

The International Leadership Conference on “The Significance of Marriage and Family for Peace in the 21st Century” brought together delegates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Latvia, Mongolia, People's Republic of China, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan as well as other parts of the world. People were moved in various ways by their experiences in Korea.
