Youth Service Initiative Project in Ghana

A Peace Rally Launches UPF in Kumasi

Kumasi, Ghana - The headmaster of a senior high school in Kumasi, capital of the Ashanti region in central Ghana, read the UPF quarterly journals for three years and contacted headquarters expressing interest in starting a chapter of the Universal Peace Federation in his region. In consultation with the new national Secretary General, he organized a peace rally chaired by the president of the Ashanti Council of Chiefs.
