Day of Peace Observed in Television Programs and a Fair in Costa Rica

San Jose, Costa Rica - UPF-Costa Rica was part of the Peace Network that organized a peace fair on September 20 at the Plaza de la Cultura in San Jose in celebration of the International Day of Peace.
UPF set up an information table and distributed literature. Two Ambassadors for Peace who are members of the Board of Directors of the Peace Network were Professor Carolina Ruiz Narvaes, who was in charge of two folk dances, and Mr. William Menses Chaverri, who gave words of peace. Channel Telepaz 52 broadcast an interview with Engineer Gerardo Brenes, President of UPF-Costa Rica.
UPF-Costa Rica has been part of the Peace Network since 2011.
