Morocco—Following recent parliamentary elections in Morocco, UPF's Middle East and North Africa office received the following notification on October 9, 2021, from the office of the secretary general of the House of Representatives:

"Mr. Rachid Talbi El Alami has been elected as the new speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco."

At the request of the Parliament of Morocco, UPF is publishing this information in order to properly inform all branches of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP).
