Global Day of Parents Observed in D.R. Congo

Kinshasa, D.R. Congo—Parental responsibility for children’s education was the theme of the UPF celebration of Global Day of Parents 2016.
UPF held the meeting on June 1 together with two affiliated organizations, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) and Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP), at the UPF Peace Embassy in Kinshasa, the capital.
The participants included representatives of socio-educational and economic organizations, as well as religious leaders and UPF Ambassadors for Peace.
The main message, delivered by Jean Pierre Kadima Mundadi, the secretary general of UPF for D.R. Congo, was broadcast on national television and relayed by private media in a program developed by FFWPU, Chemin de la Paix (“The Way to Peace”).
