IAPD-Russia’s 3rd Interview: Interfaith Activist

Moscow, Russia—For the third episode of the online interview series with which UPF is introducing its Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) in Russia, UPF invited Dr. Alexander Shapiro-Suliman, secretary general of the Alliance of the Peoples of the World.
UPF-Moscow leader Dmitry Samko conducted the interview in the Moscow Peace Embassy on February 15, 2023—connecting it to the UN World Interfaith Harmony Week.
The online interview received about 250 views.
Dr. Shapiro-Suliman spoke about the alliance’s goals and work. He emphasized the importance of interreligious and interethnic dialogue and of interaction between public organizations.
The Alliance of the Peoples of the World and UPF-Russia are planning several joint projects in 2023, focusing on the theme of Year of the Teacher and Mentor.
