Moscow, Russia - Nine members of the Russian National Peace Council met at the UPF Peace Embassy in Moscow on September 22, 2008, to discuss UN peacekeeping missions. The two speakers were Mr. Lavrov, President of the Organization of Veterans of UN Peacekeeping Missions and editor of the magazine Military Diplomat, and Mr. Oleg Mironov, a former Human Rights Ombudsman of Russia.
