Day of Peace in San Marino

San Marino - In San Marino, the International Day of Peace was celebrated in a Social Center. Several Ambassadors for Peace and guests attended the event.The celebration opened with the Video Message of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the video “The Day after Peace.”
Giorgio Gasperoni, President of UPF-San Marino, gave an introductory speech and read the UPF statement about this day. Dr. Riccardo Venturini, San Marino's Global Peace Council representative, also spoke. At the end, two poets read their poems.
The people who attended the event were very pleased with the celebration.
