Day of Peace in Yekaterinburg, Russia

Yekaterinburg Russia - A festive gathering on the International Day of Peace took place at an orphanage. Teachers gave lessons on peace. The children made about 500 little cranes to decorate the hall and created an exhibit of photos about peace.
During the meeting children recited poems and sang songs about peace. A collage created by the teachers about war and peace was presented. There were various competitions connected to the idea of peace. The leader of Ural branch of UPF, Yerofeeva, greeted the participants. Children received prizes and gifts. There were 70 participants in the event.
