At the beginning our volunteers sang few cheerful songs together with children and held a short getting-to-know you game. Then they explained the meaning of the International Day of Peace and described how it celebrated in other countries. They showed a ten-minute video about it. After that, the volunteers organized a few games for the children and in the end give them presents.
Both children and volunteers enjoyed this event very much. The children were very happy to receive the attention and love from volunteers. The volunteers also shared that even though they were tired because of their work or studies that day, spending time with those children made them feel great joy and happiness. They also expressed their desire and determination to continue to participate in such projects.
