Day of Peace Observed in France

Vannes, France - At the Hotel Kyriad in Vannes, UPF-France organized an International Day of Peace forum on Sept. 30, 2012.
Speakers included Frank Jézéquel, Doctor of Geopolitics, on “Economy in Service of Peace”; Xavier Guiavarc'h, teacher in a college for professional agricultural education and president of the Forum of Ploudaniel, on “Role of Informal Education as well as Education of Values for Peace and Development”; Jean Luc Berlet, who holds a doctorate in philosophy, on “Feminine Values in Service of Peace”; Neilly Cambervelle, President of IN SOLIDUM, on her approach to economic development in Africa; and Maguite Lorcy, on “How GAIA Helps Youth in Togo."
Patrick Jouan closed the day with a presentation about UPF, and six new Ambassadors for Peace were appointed.
