Day of Peace Observed at Ceremonies and a Forum in Mindanao

Sultan Kudarat, Mindanao, Philippines - For the International Day of Peace, UPF-Philippines organized several activities:
1. Planting of a Peace Pole in the front grounds of the Provincial Capitol Building of Sultan Kudarat Province.
2. An Education for Peace Forum at Sultan Kudarat State University with representative speakers from religion, politics, academe, military, police, youth, and women.
3. A Poster Making Contest - Posters reflected the theme of the celebration, "Education for Peace."
